Arizona Cardinals: Preseason Analysis

The Arizona Cardinals are once against coached by Denny Green. Coach Green has a proven record of turning losing teams into winners, so that is one thing the Cardinals have going for them.

The Cardinals picked up a real star in Edgerrin James, who starred for the Colts. This running back is predicted to surpass 1,000 rushing yards, which will give the Arizona Cardinals a new look offense.

In addition, the Cardinals have quarterback Kurt Warner, who has proven that he knows what it takes to win the Super Bowl. Warner is a real class act that can only help the team get better. Some critics question whether or not Warner still has it in him to run an offense. In the draft the Cardinals picked up Matt Leinart, as the tenth pick of the draft. Leinart set every record at USC, making him a great pick for any team. If there is a problem with Warner, it is certain Leinart can just step right in and take over, without a problem.

The receiving core for the team will likely do well this season. With Anquan Boldin as a wide receiver and Larry Fitzgerald gelling for another year, they should perform quite well. Of course, the evolving of the team’s running game will allow Boldin and Fitzgerald to break open even more.

They could be the Cinderella pick of many fans this year who think they may have a chance to make the playoffs. With the talent they have picked up, all they need to do is put in the work and they should be able to show the world they are worthy of the playoffs.
