Oakland Raiders: How Will They Fair?

The Oakland Raiders fans are wondering what the team is going to look like this year. With Aaron Brooks on board, the team may take on a whole new look. Sure, Aaron Brooks is impressive, but whether or not he can lead this ruthless team is questionable. He can throw deep, has good feet, and looks overall like a star. Of course, with wide receivers like Randy Moss and Jerry Porter waiting for those passes, some people think that Brooks will never be able to keep them happy with enough passes. Brooks is confident he can take on the difficult task however.

Another issue for the team is their weakening defense. What was once thought of as the toughest defense in the NFL is now looking meek. The team lost Ted Washington, which is a huge blow to their defense. In addition, Warren Sapp is injured and may not be able to make it back. His rotator-cuff was injured and he underwent surgery to fix it. The team will look to their linebackers for more results, which may not be apparent.

The fans are hoping with as much talent as the team has brought in that the Oakland Raiders will once again rise to glory. But, it may be one of those years where there are very talented players who cannot get it together enough to make the plays and get the wins. The coaches and owners are hoping for better however, and if there are not positive results this year, they will likely be making more changes in the staff.
