2006 Preseason Analysis Miami Dolphins: Preseason ThoughtsMiami might just have made a few good decisions during the off season this year. They are playing under Head Coach Nick Saban, who is coming into his second coaching year with the Miami Dolphins team. The coaching staff of the team is incredible with two of the assistant coaches having held head coach positions in the NFL last season. So, without a doubt, the Dolphins can at least say they have the organizational tools they need to be successful. In addition to having a great coaching staff, the new and improved Miami Dolphins also picked up one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. Quarterback Dante Culpepper is a fantastic addition to the improving Miami Dolphin team. He did have a lot of personal trouble at Minnesota last season and has dealt with several injuries throughout his career. However, when push comes to shove, Daunte Culpepper is one great quarterback who deserves to be on a winning team sometime in his career. Joey Harrington was another quarterback the Miami Dolphins picked up during the off season, which only means even better news. Joey Harrington came from the Detroit Lions and might not be a starter for the Miami Dolphins, but will likely get some playing time. The defensive team is strong and ready to go. This year’s Miami Dolphins will likely make it into the playoffs with no trouble at all! Look for great results from both the offense and the defense and excellent leadership from the coaching staff. |
